The story between them reflects Beijing’s culture and its spirit of inclusiveness.

In the alleys of Beijing, there was an old rickshaw driver named Chen Guanghou. Every day, as the last rays of the sun bathed the roof, Chen Guanghou would push his old rickshaw and slowly make his way to an old tea stall at the entrance of the alley. The owner of the tea stall, Liu, was a kind elderly man with white hair and a gentle smile always on his face. The stall’s signature was the famous large bowl of tea, priced at two cents a bowl, which had remained unchanged for decades. The story between them reflects Beijing’s culture and its spirit of inclusiveness.
